Choices

We have CHOICES to make everyday. My dad always taught me that each decision I make either takes me closer to OR farther from my goal. It’s the little things that we do day in and day out that define us. Life is happening at a rapid pace and sometimes we are forced to make decisions on the fly. I find it to be extremely helpful to plan ahead. Decide in advance what your boundaries are. Knowing your plan ahead of time will help you to be true to yourself.

•I overslept, skip the gym today or find a way to get in some exercise?
•I had an unplanned splurge, get back on track now or wait until Monday?
•I don’t feel like cooking breakfast, cereal would be quick.
•I waited too long to eat lunch, grab the first thing I see or have something that will truly satisfy me.
•I didn’t lose any weight this week, beat myself up about it or learn more about myself.
There are hundreds of examples that we could use… but I think you get the idea. Life is happening choice by choice… what direction are you heading???
